Only an hour’s drive from Glasgow International Airport – including a 20 minute ferry ride – or travel along “the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond” and Loch Fyne to reach us in about 90 minutes. Here is an ideal base for touring Argyll – from Oban and the Islands to the Mull of Kintyre. There is a fantastic range of outdoor leisure activities including sailing, fishing, windsurfing, speed boat tours, quad bikes, clay shooting and much more. Enjoy the stunning scenery while cycling into the forests and hills and walking the Cowal Way. Stroll along the shore to the village centre where there is a shop/post office, pub, hotel and restaurant. Also in the village there are horse riding stables and a golf course, one of many in the area. A few miles north is Dunoon, which has a good selection of shops and restaurants, a cinema and swimming pool with flume.
